Oh my GOD that was farcical. *immensely relieved* Seriously? Our defence is just... scarily leaky. But I'm glad to see Ricky!

I will say that I was immensely amused during the 2nd half. I was just glad we were playing better and everything else was just icing, so the foibles of both teams were nothing but "did that really just happen?" type of moments.

Although I'm ecstatic now about the result, for sure. :D

I know, right?! Just... especially that span of two/three minutes at the end when Liverpool scored two consecutively? Insane.

Also, we were getting crazily easy free-kick calls from the ref; Didier, especially, was wayy too floppy.

Yeah, Didier needs to clean it up a bit. Seriously, it's embarrassing.

But oh man, what was up with Peter? So not like him, even though I don't think he ever made it back to how he was before the whole skull fracture thing.

But Lamps.... oh how I love thee. And Essien! I made a very embarrassing high pitched shout at that save.

Yeah, Petr was rather inconsistent. And yes ITA about his performance pre- and post- the skull fracture thing.

Lampsy! So glad to see him! And Essien was, as always, very impressive. That save? Awesome. I think, everytime I see Michael, he just looks better than I'd remembered wrt looks. Heh. Shallowness!
